Welcome to the Terms and Conditions page for Original Wild. We value our customers and aim to provide a clear understanding of our policies, procedures, and services. By booking with us, you agree to the following terms, ensuring that you have a safe and enjoyable experience. These terms apply to all activities offered, including paddleboarding, kayaking, doggy paddleboarding, and more. Please read them carefully before confirming your booking.

 

Payment

 

•⁠  ⁠Bookings may be paid in full at the time of booking or secured with a deposit.

•⁠  ⁠Where a deposit is paid, the remaining balance is due no later than 70 days before the session date.

•⁠  ⁠If the remaining balance has not been paid by this point, we may collect the outstanding amount using the same payment method used at booking.

•⁠  ⁠If payment cannot be collected, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit.

 

Cancellations, Changes & Refunds

 

•⁠  ⁠A full refund will be issued if a booking is cancelled more than 70 days before the session date.

•⁠  ⁠If a booking is cancelled within 70 days of the session date, no cash refunds will be given. You may reschedule or receive a voucher for the value paid.

•⁠  ⁠If a booking is cancelled within 48 hours of the session start time, no refunds, rescheduling, or vouchers will be given.

 

Underage Participants

 

•⁠  ⁠Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times during the activity.

 

 

Alcohol & Behavioural Policy

 

•⁠  ⁠We reserve the right to refuse or remove participants from activities if their behaviour is unacceptable or if they are endangering themselves or others, including those under the influence of alcohol or drugs. No refunds will be given in such cases.

 

Health & Medical Requirements

 

•⁠  ⁠By booking, you confirm that you are fit and able to take part in the activity.

•⁠  ⁠If you have any medical conditions or disabilities, you must tell us ahead of the session. If you are unsure of your fitness, please consult your doctor.

•⁠  ⁠Please inform us of any medication being taken and notify us if a child requires prescribed medication during the session.

 

Participant Weight Limit

 

•⁠  ⁠Due to equipment safety limits, we’re only able to accommodate participants who weigh 110kg or under. This is to ensure the safety of both you and our instructors during the session. If you’re unsure whether this applies to you, feel free to get in touch before booking.

 

Equipment & Clothing

 

•⁠  ⁠Correct clothing and footwear, as outlined in the kit list, must be worn. We reserve the right to remove participants from the group if they do not have the correct kit, for their safety and comfort.

•⁠  ⁠If you or any member of your group requires oversized or very small equipment or has special requirements, please email us prior to the activity.

 

Damage to Equipment

 

•⁠  ⁠Participants must use all equipment responsibly and follow instructor guidance at all times.

•⁠  ⁠Any damage caused by negligence, misuse, or failure to follow instructor instructions may be charged to the participant or booking holder.

•⁠  ⁠Charges will reflect the reasonable cost of repair or replacement.

 

Late Arrivals

 

•⁠  ⁠Participants are asked to arrive in good time before the scheduled session start.

•⁠  ⁠Sessions run to a fixed timetable and may include other participants. Late arrivals may not be able to join once a session has begun.

•⁠  ⁠No refunds, rescheduling, or vouchers will be issued for missed sessions due to late arrival.

 

Photography & Media

 

•⁠  ⁠We take photographs and videos for training and promotional purposes. These may be shared with customers free of charge. Please inform your instructor if you prefer not to be included in any photos.

 

Insurance & Liability

 

•⁠  ⁠Original Wild has specialist public and products liability insurance of £5 million, as well as employer’s liability insurance of £10 million.

•⁠  ⁠We do not accept responsibility for personal belongings or additional costs incurred due to sickness, weather, strikes, or any other causes.

•⁠  ⁠Personal accident insurance is not included. It is advised that participants secure their own personal accident insurance if desired.

 

Weather/Conditions Policy

 

•⁠  ⁠If the weather conditions are deemed unsafe by the instructor, we reserve the right to reschedule or cancel the session. If the session is cancelled by us, a full refund will be issued.

 

Force Majeure

 

•⁠  ⁠We are not liable for cancellations or delays caused by events beyond our control (e.g., extreme weather, pandemics).
