Try stand up paddle boarding

What is a Try SUP session?

Our Try SUP sessions were initially woven into our diary as a way of allowing the local residents to get on board (pun absolutely intended) with all the fun! We know that not everybody can stop work half-way through the day to go and splash around on the river; and so, Try SUP was born!

From here we threw together some evening sessions at a slightly subsidised rate to encourage locals to come and have a go after work! As the seasons went on, popularity grew in strength and today we have one of the most enjoyable evening sessions in our diary!

Today’s sessions are not just limited to locals either. We have families, couples, mothers, daughters, fathers and friends who join us from all over the UK. It’s great to see so many people wanting to give stand up paddle boarding a go within the guided safety of our highly-experienced and qualified instructors.

Our ‘Try’ evenings are the perfect place to give something new a go within the comfort of many other relative newbies. We don’t expect miracles on these sessions, it’s all about getting you confident on the water and gaining a brief insight into what stand up paddle boarding could do for you!

When and where do Try SUP sessions run?

Our Try SUP sessions run throughout the season (April – Oct) every Friday evening. For the bulk of these sessions, the run time will be 7pm – 8:30pm. Evening sessions closer to Spring and Autumn may begin slightly earlier at 6pm to avoid losing the light.
