Our Evening Kayak sessions started out life as a way of giving something back to the local people of Bath. The idea of running slightly shorter (and slightly subsidised!) sessions during the evenings or after work continues to prove ever popular with tourists and locals alike.

Evening Kayak sessions are a great introduction to the sport with absolutely no expectation to make any real advances. If you’re completely new to kayaking, or water sports on the whole, then our Sunset sessions are the perfect place to start.

These sessions run every Tuesday evening from 7pm – 8:30pm throughout the majority of the season. (Start and finish times may vary during the shoulder months). This time slot gives the large majority of our customers a chance to finish work, get changed and meet us at Bath Riverside for some fun on the water!

Due to the growing popularity of our Evening sessions, you can expect to meet lots of awesome people during the evening. On top of that, and if the weathers good, you can expect some pretty epic golden-hour sunsets too!

At Original Wild we stock tandem kayaks so don’t worry if you’re booking solo, we can team you up with a fellow kayak enthusiast. What a way to meet new people with similar interests!

NEED TO KNOWS

You must be able to swim 15 meters in light clothing
Under 18’s need to be accompanied by their parent or guardian
Open to ages 8 and above
Please wear suitable clothing for time on the water. Gym wear is perfect
Please bring some dry clothes for after your session in case you get wet!
Life is better bare foot and that's how we recommend paddling
Please allow 1 hour 30 mins for your total visit. Time on the water may vary
