Welcome to the Terms and Conditions page for Original Wild. We value our customers and aim to provide a clear understanding of our policies, procedures, and services. By booking with us, you agree to the following terms, ensuring that you have a safe and enjoyable experience. These terms apply to all activities offered, including paddleboarding, kayaking, doggy paddleboarding, and more. Please read them carefully before confirming your booking.

Cancellations & reduction in group numbers 

• More than 10 weeks (70 days) before the course starts, return of payment (excluding deposit).

• Less than 10 weeks (70 days) before the activity, loss of full payment.

• We cannot offer refunds or reductions in group sizes within 10 weeks of your activity date.

• Bookings changed or cancelled within 10 weeks but not closer than 24 hours before the activity date will receive a voucher or be rescheduled.

• Cancellations or amendments cannot be made within 24 hours of the activity; no refund or vouchers will be available.

• If, on the very rare occasion, we have to cancel a course, then a full refund will be issued, or an alternative course will be arranged.

• Original Wild reserves the right to cancel or alter any course due to circumstances beyond our control. In the event of cancellation, an alternative date will be arranged.

• Bookings that are missed, and groups/individuals who arrive late, will not be entitled to a refund or voucher for any part of the booking amount.

Payment

• When paying with a deposit, the remaining balance must be paid in full at least 70 days before the activity date.

• Original Wild reserves the right to collect the remaining balance directly from the customer if payment is not made by the specified deadline.

Gift Cards

• Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. They are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged. Gift cards can be redeemed online or directly with us for eligible activities. Use of a gift card constitutes acceptance of these terms.

Alcohol & Behavioural Policy

• We reserve the right to refuse or remove participants from activities if their behaviour is unacceptable or if they are endangering themselves or others, including those under the influence of alcohol or drugs. No refunds will be given in such cases.

Health & Medical Requirements

• By booking, you confirm that you are fit and able to take part in the activity. If you have any medical conditions or disabilities, you must declare them on your Consent Form provided to you. If you are unsure of your fitness, please consult your doctor.

• Please inform us of any medication being taken, and notify us if a child requires prescribed drugs during the session.

Participant Weight Limit

• Due to equipment safety limits, we’re only able to accommodate participants who weigh 110kg or under. This is to ensure the safety of both you and our instructors during the session. If you’re unsure whether this applies to you, feel free to get in touch before booking.

Equipment & Clothing

• Correct clothing and footwear, as outlined in the kit list, must be worn. We reserve the right to remove participants from the group if they do not have the correct kit, for their safety and comfort.

• If you or any member of your group requires oversized or very small equipment or has special requirements, please email us prior to the activity.

Photography & Media

• We take photographs and videos for training and promotional purposes. These may be shared with customers free of charge. Please inform your instructor if you prefer not to be included in any photos.

Insurance & Liability

• Original Wild has specialist public and products liability insurance of £5 million, as well as employer’s liability insurance of £10 million.

• We do not accept responsibility for personal belongings or additional costs incurred due to sickness, weather, strikes, or any other causes.

• Personal accident insurance is not included. It is advised that participants secure their own personal accident insurance if desired.

Weather/Conditions Policy

• If the weather conditions are deemed unsafe by the instructor, we reserve the right to reschedule or cancel the session.

Underage Participants

• Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times during the activity.

Force Majeure

• We are not liable for cancellations or delays caused by events beyond our control (e.g., extreme weather, pandemics).
