Outdoor First Aid (2 days) £145

Course Details:

This 2-day course is delivered by our experienced and engaging OW experts.

It’s designed to meet the needs of those working away from immediate assistance in remote and rural locations of the UK. This Outdoor First Aid qualification is externally regulated and meets the standards to appear upon the national qualifications frameworks of England and Wales.

This course is recognised throughout the UK and is the course of choice for experienced practitioners who use the outdoors. It is suitable for workers in rural and remote settings and will maintain the license to practice for those with Outdoor National Governing Body Instructor awards.

Course content includes: dealing with collapse (with and without breathing), choking, major bleeding, shock, major illnesses, torso and limb injuries, environmental effects, heat and cold injuries, using first aid kit, outdoor specific scenarios and outdoor incident management.

This is an intensive and fun course that will provide you with the skills and confidence necessary to deal with many incidents in the outdoors and will be ran in an outdoor setting only.

On successful completion of the course candidates will be awarded with a certificate valid for three years.

Outdoor First Aid (1 day) £70

Course Details:

This 1-day course is delivered by our experienced and engaging OW experts.

Designed to meet the needs of outdoor workers or instructors working in non-remote outdoor environments.

This course is a minimum of 6 hours and will maintain the license to practice for those with some Outdoor National Governing Body Instructor awards.

Course content includes: dealing with collapse (with and without breathing), choking, major bleeding, shock, some illnesses, outdoor specific scenarios and outdoor incident management.

This is a fun course and will provide you with the skills and confidence necessary to deal with many incidents in the outdoors. This course is similar to Emergency First Aid at Work award (EFAW) award but tailored to the outdoors.

On successful completion of the course candidates will be awarded with a certificate valid for three years.

Emergency First Aid at Work (1 day) £70

Course Details:

This 1 day course is delivered by our experienced and engaging OW experts.

It will provide you with the skills and confidence required to deal with many common work place incidents and the treatment of illnesses and injuries. The course duration is a minimum of 6 hours contact time in order to meet the requirements.

Candidates learn a systematic approach to first aid that can be applied to any given situation and is recognised by employers as the minimum standard of training.

Course content includes: Incident management, unconscious casualties, CPR, seizures, choking, serious bleeding, shock and first aid for minor injuries.

On successful completion of the course candidates will be awarded with a certificate valid for three years.

First Aid at Work (2 day) £145

Course Overview:

This 2-day course is delivered by our experienced and engaging OW experts.

It’s a minimum of 18 hours contact time in order to meet the course requirements.

This course will provide you with the skills and confidence required to deal with many common work place incidents and the treatment of illness or injury.

By practice and dealing with realistic scenarios throughout the day, candidates will learn a systematic approach to first aid that can be applied to any given situation. There is no final exam and candidates are assessed continuously throughout the course through practical demonstrations.

Course content includes: Incident management, unconscious casualties, CPR, seizures, choking, serious bleeding, shock, minor workplace incidents, major illnesses, common and serious workplace injuries, poisoning, anaphylactic shock, burns treatment, eye injuries and using first aid kits.

On successful completion of the course candidates will be awarded with a certificate valid for three years.
